Job Responsibilities
Our environmental
and energy laboratory needs a full-time laboratory service representative to
operate under the supervision of our laboratory manager. Our LSR
receives, unpacks and logs our samples into our laboratory computer system
using documentation that is traceable, concise, thorough and accurate. Other duties include answering customer
telephone and/or emails inquiries and general administrative tasks. Our LSR works
closely with laboratory personnel to better serve our client partners, often
preparing sample kits for shipment to clients.
The ideal candidate
will be able a highly motivated, team orientated individual that likes to work
in a fast-paced environment and is able to multi-task effectively. Attention to detail a must. Must be able to routinely and repetitively lift
up to 50 lbs since many client samples are delivered in heavy coolers.
Education Requirements
Preferred
candidate will have an Associate’s degree, however work experience may be
substituted for education.
